How To Set Up Fewcha Wallet & Swap on PancakeSwap

In this article, you’ll learn how to set up your Fewcha Wallet and swap on PancakeSwap to start your journey on Aptos.

1. Download the Chrome extension here. Select “Add to Chrome”.

2. Once it finishes downloading, a welcome tab will appear. Here you can select “Create a new wallet” (or “Use an existing wallet” if you’ve already had one.)

3. Select your default blockchain. For example, click “Aptos Blockchain”.

4. Create a password that’s hard to predict yet easy to remember. Make sure you have read and agreed to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Then click “Continue”.

5. For the Recovery Phrase, please write it down or copy to save it somewhere that you can remember.

Notice:

  • Safely backup your recovery phrases. If you lose your recovery phrase, you may lose access to your wallet and the crypto within it forever.
  • NEVER share your recovery phrases with anyone, under any circumstances.
  • NEVER input your recovery phrase to a website or app, other than your wallet app.

6. Repeat your Recovery Phrase, click Continue.

7. Click Finish to complete this setup process.

8. And done! Once your wallet is created, you can access it at any time by clicking on the Fewcha Wallet icon on the extension bar.

Don’t forget to pin the Fewcha Wallet extension to your toolbar for easy access!

Aptos has multiple networks, including devnets and testnets. But to use PancakeSwap on Aptos Chain, please be sure your wallet is connected to Aptos Mainnet.

You will also need to have some $APT tokens to pay gas fees. You can learn how to get some here.

1. Access https://aptos.pancakeswap.finance/swap

2. Click “Connect Wallet” on the top right-hand corner and choose Fewcha Wallet.

3. Choose the token you want to swap from the dropdown menu when clicking into APT. The default setting is APT. Type the amount you want to swap.

Whichever token you choose, please make sure you have some to trade with. Your token balance is shown in the token dropdown menu.

4. Choose the token you want to trade to in the next section. You can type the currency amount at the input box, the remaining box will be estimated automatically.

5. Check the details, and click the Swap button

6. A new window with more details will appear, check carefully again and then click “Confirm Swap”

7. Proceed confirmations and done! You can click View on Explorer to see your transaction details.

Notice: If your transactions are unsuccessful, consider increasing Slippage Tolerance at Settings and try again.
