Join the Club – The First Wives Club, the good-time battle-of-the-sexes satire sparked by snappy one-liners, great physical-comedy gags and three unforgettable stars in top form. Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton portray mid-life Manhattanites who have more than a longtime friendship in common. After years of helping their hubbies climb the ladder of success, each has been dumped for a newer, curvier model. But the trio is determined to turn their pain into gain. They come up with a cleverly devious plan to hit their exes where it really hurts – in the wallet! Sit back and watch the sparks fly as The Wives get mad, get even and get it all. Justice has seldom been so sweet. Or so much fun.

  4. Ok Stockard Channing is only in this for a few minutes but what a performance!!! Made me cry. Love love love this film.

  5. This probably could have been a good movie if it weren't for the fact they had to spend too much money trying to get Bette Midler to look as good as a THREE. If they would've spent less money on makeup for her scary mug, they could have paid for a real scriptwriter…

  6. Is this one of the greatest movies of all time or what?!?!

    YouTube is the best!!!

  7. This reminds me of an older film called "The Women".. I watched that film twice before I became aware that not a single man appeared on screen even though they were the subject of all the conversations.

  8. One of the greatest movies of all time. Perfect casting, comic timing, & heart.

  9. Come on Elise. Let's have it. Are those 💋 wax? 😆

  10. The card that Stockard Channing's character, Cynthia , mailed to Annie after her suicide had me in tears. It is 2022 and I still grieve my young nephew who was loved, and cared for, yet took his life. This film is 26 years old, I was a decade working in corporate after I graduated from college…I still have suits and dresses, that resemble what the woman were wearing.

  11. I've never seen this before and don't know why but going to now that it's free! Love the movies they have been adding lately!

  12. I've learned never to hinge your happiness on romantic love and this movie is looking very interesting. The song at the end might be the swan song for the independent woman in the American states

  13. Loved it back in the day, still love it today, it makes me laugh and laughter is good for my health.

  14. Thank you for uploading this movie. I saw this as a teenager and I loved it. Still do.

  15. This movie means so much to me. Fell in love with it as a kid back in the 90's. The ending always give me chills. Those women were so glorious and powerful and strong. There was such an optimism back in those days. I miss it beyond belief. There's a reason why people sentimentalise the 90's so often… Those were special times. 💫💫💫
